NEWS RELEASE 30th July 2004 Science Photo Library Acquires Specialist Botanical Photography Agency A-Z Botanical Science Photo Library (SPL), the world's leading provider of scientific images, announced today its acquisition of A-Z Botanical, a 30 year established specialist botanical collection of over 300,000 images of plants from around the globe. The comprehensive A-Z collection of plant portraits, gardens and borders complements this material providing breadth and depth of imagery from photographers around the world. SPL will continue to work with the A-Z photographers and its larger capabilities will enable it to develop the collection significantly. The images will be available from the SPL website www.sciencephoto.com or by requesting a search from the team of in-house researchers.
